KC Cup Connect — Child Safety Standards

KC Cup Connect (KCCupConnect) is a social fan-matching app for Kansas City World Cup 2026. We maintain zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These published standards describe how we prevent, detect, report, and remove CSAE-related content and behavior on our platform.

Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

We explicitly prohibit all of the following on KC Cup Connect:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind.
Sexualization, grooming, or exploitation of minors.
Content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates CSAE.
Attempts to contact minors for sexual purposes.
Any other conduct that endangers children or violates applicable child safety laws.

Violations result in immediate content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and reporting to appropriate authorities when required by law.

Age restriction

KC Cup Connect is for adults only. Users must confirm they are at least 18 years old before creating an account. We do not knowingly permit users under 18. Accounts suspected of belonging to minors are removed.

Prevention and detection

Community standards. Sexual content, nudity, illegal activity, exploitation, and harassment are banned in our Terms of Service and in-app community guidelines.
Automated moderation. Text in posts, comments, and chat is filtered for prohibited terms, including CSAE-related language. Uploaded images are scanned using Google Cloud Vision API for adult, racy, and violent content.
Human review. Moderators review user reports and flagged content through an admin moderation queue.
Blocking. Users can block other accounts and hide content they do not want to see.

In-app reporting

Users can report child safety concerns and other violations directly in the app:

Report a user from Discover or Chat.
Report a post from the feed.
Block users to prevent further contact.

Reports are stored securely, reviewed by our moderation team, and acted on according to these standards.

Response to confirmed CSAM

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on KC Cup Connect, we:

Immediately remove the content and disable the responsible account.
Preserve relevant records as required for investigation.
Report confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline for U.S. incidents, or to the relevant regional or national authority where applicable.
Cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.

Legal compliance

KC Cup Connect complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including requirements to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or other competent authorities. We update our practices as laws and industry guidance evolve.
